House all to myself!

Yayyy... I have the house all to myself today and tomorrow! Anyone who knows me knows why I am jumping for joy. It is no secret that Jason and I are living together but not "together". We get along, have fun with Jackson and remain friends but are no longer a couple even though we are legally married. See where the roller coaster Liz header comes from? It might not be "normal" but we have made it work. I am actually looking for a place to rent and hope to move out once I find somewhere. He will continue to try and sell the house and we will try and still be the best parents we can be. Jackson of course is the one that suffers but we can't continue to live like we are and have him growing up thinking that is normal either. I think it is better now anyways because it no longer matters why we aren't together, who did what, etc. We have forgiven each other and now still have maintained the friendship we have always had. I mean I have known him 10 years this month. Crazy isn't it?

But anyways... he is at some truck thingie... so Jackson and I can spend a few days just the two of us. Jackson is playing cars right now and watching THOMAS! Ugggh damn Thomas the Train is like nails on a chalk board for me. The little man loves it though so what can I do? Watch and grind my teeth I guess- lol. I am starting to stress a little because I haven't Christmas shopped yet. Yeah, I am ridiculous! I plan on going this Tuesday because I have the day off from work. My dad will watch Jackson and hopefully I can just wipe it out all in one day. Every other year I could take Jackson with me and he would be clueless but not this year. This year it is time to play Santa- for real- hehe.

I am going to attach a few more pics to this post. These are December pics. You will see the wine glass that Jackson now has to drink out of with his dinner. His little friend in the pics is Sarah. Her mom works with me at the hospital and the kids are 2 weeks apart. They love playing together and he treats her so sweet. We all went together to see Santa yesterday. The other pics are just of us putting up the tree. Have a great day :)

  1. Chad and I went to target.com last night and bought all of Hannah's presents online..They'll be here next week sometime. It beat trying to find a sitter and go shopping without her. Now I just have to get stocking stuffers and a few things for Sadie.
