Well, my friend Sarah decided to start blogging so I thought I would give this a shot as well. I like the idea of having a way to store memories of my son. Plus, I can see how it could be kind of therapeutic- haha. Anyone who knows me knows my life has been a roller coaster lately (notice the title... roller coaster liz). When I say lately, it's been this way for ohhhh about 2.5 years! Yep, I am serious.
Today Jackson and I just spent the day doing NOTHING around the house! After working the past 3 days straight (3 days in a row from 10am-10pm) and an hour drive each way I just felt like sitting around and crashing all day. So, we played trains and just had fun together. Then later tonight we drove around the neighborhood and just looked at Christmas lights. He had a blast doing that. It was really cute. It is adorable to see Christmas through the eyes of a 2 year old. Everything is so exciting as it should be. When he first started seeing Christmas lights he thought we were supposed to ring the doorbell and ask for candy. Guess Halloween was still on his mind!
Tomorrow we are going to Little Gym where I will triple cross my fingers that Jackson doesn't argue with the one little kid with the nutty parents who accused him of being a bully. I mean I can't help that my kid doesn't take crap even at 2. Haha- just kidding (sorta). Then we are going to take pics with Santa (should be interesting considering last year I had to sit on Santa's lap to get him even close to Santa). So... hope everyone has a good morning tomorrow. I am off to bed now!
